What do you get when your cow falls into a hole and you swindle your neighbor? The second most visited nature site in the state of New York: Howe Caverns.
What’s in Howe Caverns? Rocks. All sorts of rocks. Darkness. Bats! College-aged girls looking to make a few extra dollars over the summer. Lots of Indian people. A shocking number of Indian people. Not that the presence of Indian people is shocking. Quite the opposite, the smell of cumin eases me unlike any other smell. This all happens 180 feet under New York just west of the Berkshires. Here’s a video of what you can expect on a trip out there. Also, beware the abandoned Holiday Inn, there may be meth and/or murder there.
